Introducing Executive Chef Mario Gross to the Summit Restaurant team who brings his training, experience and stewardship from some of the most prestigious Michelin Star properties throughout Germany. Beginning with his apprenticeship at the 5-star hotel Der Alpenhof, his career advanced to the Hyatt Hotel Group then proceeding with other Michelin Star properties like the Waldhotel Sonnora and Wine & Tafelhaus. He eventually made his way to Canada bringing his expertise exclusively to Vancouver Island.
His honed palate combined with his level of passion and expertise are welcome additions to the team in the kitchen. It compliments the goals of the Resort, showcasing locally sourced ingredients in beautifully inspired culinary creations.
