Resort Policies and Terms & Conditions

  • Cancellation: Cancellations must be made before 12 PM, seven days prior to avoid a charge of one-night stay plus taxes. For cancellations, within 48 hours the total stay plus taxes will be charged. Non-Refundable bookings cannot be cancelled or changed.
  • On or after the day of your arrival, any early departures will result in the processing of the full value of your stay that was originally reserved.
  • A valid credit card number is required to secure a room reservation.
  • The Villa Eyrie Resort is an entirely non-smoking establishment. There is a designated smoking area outside the villas.
  • Upon check-in: a credit card pre-authorization or cash deposit for the remaining room charges plus $100 CAD per day for incidentals is required. If using a credit card for pre-authorization, at check out any remaining funds will be released within three to 10 business days at the discretion of your financial institution.
  • Our rates are based on single or double occupancy. Each extra person 18 years or older in the room is an additional $30 charge per night. Not all of our rooms can accommodate extra guests in the room.
  • Pet Friendly Rooms: we are pet friendly, so read about our full policy.
  • Please note that our rates are subject to applicable taxes and are subject to change without notice.
  • All rates are quoted in Canadian dollars. For guests using a credit card drawn on an American bank, please remember that the rate charged to you upon check in will be converted by your credit card company into U.S. dollars based on the exchange rate at that time. The rate as quoted in Canadian funds, will not change.


Due to our mountainside location, the Villa Eyrie Resort is not wheelchair accessible. We retain one Superior Suite in Villa Aquila that is considered accessible but note that it may not be available so please contact us ahead of time to inquire about reserving this specific guestroom. As for guest facilities, Alpina Restaurant and its washrooms are accessible as is the Malahat Room and Villa Cielo Amphitheatre event spaces, but all others are not. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience.

Pet-Friendly Policy

The Villa Eyrie Resort is indeed a pet friendly hotel! We love dogs so feel free to bring your furry friend with you during your stay with us while our property offers several paths for walks with stunning views.

Booking a Pet-Friendly Room

Not all our rooms are pet friendly so we always recommend calling or emailing us to confirm the availability for your preferred dates. If you have already made a reservation online, contact us so we can add a note to your file and double-check that we indeed have availability in a designated room.

While speaking with guest services, we will also want to find out more about your furry friend so that we can equip your room with a dog bed, water bowl and food bowl of the appropriate size as well as some treats. And for reference, we have a limited number of pet friendly rooms in the categories of Classic Rooms, Classic View Rooms, Superior Suites and Master Suites.

Pet Fees

A pet fee of $75 (per week) will be added to your reservation at the time of booking. The pet fee covers standard deep cleaning costs of the room after your departure. Should a pet be brought into a non-pet friendly room and without the hotels consent, an additional cleaning fee of $500 will be added to your reservation. Upon check-in, you will be presented with a pet waiver form reiterating these important details of our pet policy; among others assuming financial responsibility for any damages that may have been caused to the rooms furnishings, carpets or accessories.

Terms & Conditions

*We welcome dogs of all breeds and sizes but we ask our guests to respect the limit of one dog per room. We do not accommodate felines or exotic animals. We ask our guests to keep their pets on leash at all times when in public areas of Villa Eyrie and resort grounds. Out of respect for other guests, we kindly ask that you not leave your pet in your room unattended unless left within a kennel and only if it does not create noise disturbances to surrounding guest rooms. In compliance with current health regulations, pets are not allowed in the pool, the restaurants or the Tuscan Spa. If you are bringing a service dog with you, please let Guest Services know for further details and exceptions.
